Q
HOw about berber carpets and snagging with vacuums...I was at a store and the agent indicated that they can snag and "run" with the brush bar? Is this true? Any manufacturer that i should stay away from or migrate to?
A
Dont over react.
Yes you can snag a yarn with the vac if it's sticking up high enough (already snagged) The vac beated bar isnt going to grab a random yarn and yank it out in the middle of the room. Just keep an eye on your carpet. If you see a "blossoming" yarn - snip it and seal it. Finger nail polish? err . ok .. try hot melt glue (just a drop), or any non water based glue.
But it's tough to pull one out to begin with.
