Q   We've just installed a ceramic tile floor in our kitchen. The finish is very 'flat', meaning dull. Not even a hint of gloss. I never even thought about the 'deadness' of the finish when we selected this tile. When I first mopped off the grout film left by the installer and while it was still wet, I really liked the way the water 'shine' made the floor look alive! Is there a product that we can apply to accomplish a slight gloss which doesn't cost $95 a gallon? Does anyone know the long term effect of mopping ceramic tile with Mop N Glow?

A   There are many types of ceramic tile finish on the market. Such as lapped rectified - matt rectified - matt - semi gloss or glossy. According to us, there is no product that you can shine a ceramic tiles which has a matt finish.
