There are no rules. When it comes to color, the first rule is, there are no rules. The most important thing is to use colors that you love. Take a cue from nature, there are no right or wrong colors; foliage and flowers all co-exist and harmonize. Look to nature for inspiration and see how bright and vivid "natural" colors can be.
