1	Family Owned and Operated for 60 years Michael's Floor Covering was founded in 1951 by my dad, Phil Michael. The first store was located in Leo, Indiana, and then relocated to Fort Wayne in 1963. I am Phil’s son, Tim Michael. I started in the business at age 15 as an installer, giving me more than 40 years of experience in every aspect of floor covering. I succeeded Phil, becoming the owner and moved Michael’s to its current location on East State Blvd in 1996. I can confidently say that nobody knows floors better than I do, and I am committed to treating every customer like family.
